Marketing and Communications Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and creative Marketing & Communications Assistant to support our Sales & Marketing team. This position requires a dynamic individual who is fluent in both written and spoken English and Filipino, capable of handling creative marketing tasks, including photo and video editing, and professional executive support with discretion and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications (Reporting to Head of Sales and Marketing):
- Design and layout marketing materials (e.g., posters, flyers, social media graphics) using basic graphic design tools.
- Edit photos and videos for use in promotional content, online platforms, and guest communications.
- Manage content creation and scheduling for the hotel's website and social media platforms.
- Draft guest communications, press releases, and official statements for the hotel, especially in response to incidents or special announcements.
- Ensure all marketing and communication materials adhere to the hotel's standardized branding and visual identity guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating promotions, events, and campaigns.
- Monitor online engagement and assist in replying to public queries or comments, in line with the hotel's tone and standards.
- Maintain brand consistency across all channels and materials.
Executive Assistance (Reporting to the General Manager):
- Provide administrative support to the General Manager, including calendar management, scheduling, and correspondence.
- Draft internal memos, letters, reports, and official communications.
- Record and transcribe accurate minutes of meetings.
- Organize documents, files, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Coordinate inter-departmental communications and follow-ups on action items.
- Assist in logistical preparation for meetings, presentations, and special events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or related field is an advantage.
- Highly proficient and confident in both spoken and written English and Filipino.
- Proficient in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar).
- Knowledge in basic photo and video editing using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is an advantage.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Flexible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18, Php22,000.00 per month
