A bartender primarily prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in bars, restaurants, and other establishments. They are responsible for creating a positive customer experience by providing excellent service, maintaining a clean and organized bar area, and ensuring the responsible service of alcohol. Bartenders also manage inventory, handle cash and credit transactions, and may assist with food service. Key Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Preparation and Service:Mixing drinks, serving beverages, and ensuring drinks are prepared according to recipes and customer requests.
  • Customer Interaction:Greeting customers, taking orders, providing recommendations, and handling customer inquiries or complaints.
  • Bar Maintenance:Keeping the bar area clean and organized, restocking supplies, washing glassware, and ensuring a safe environment.
  • Inventory Management:Monitoring inventory levels, placing orders, and managing bar supplies.
  • Financial Transactions:Handling cash and credit card transactions, managing the point-of-sale (POS) system, and ensuring accurate accounting.
  • Responsible Alcohol Service:Checking identification to verify legal drinking age, monitoring customer behavior, and ensuring responsible alcohol consumption.
  • Collaboration:Working with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure efficient and smooth service.

Essential Skills:

  • Mixology:Knowledge of drink recipes, mixing techniques, and the ability to create new and appealing cocktails.
  • Customer Service:Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide excellent service and build rapport with customers.
  • Multitasking:Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and managing transactions.
  • Attention to Detail:Ensuring accuracy in drink preparation, inventory management, and financial transactions.
  • Physical Stamina:Ability to stand for extended periods and handle the physical demands of the job.
  • Knowledge of Regulations:Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
