Position Title: Authorization Billing Specialist

Job Location: Clark Outsourcing - Building 35 Philexcel Business Park, Clark, Pampanga

Quick Rundown:

Responsible for managing service authorizations, billing, and payment posting under the organization's Financial Management workflow. This role ensures that authorized services match billed services and supports families, service coordinators, and internal teams with inquiries and account maintenance.

What You'll Do:

• Receive, review, and validate service authorizations ensure all required information (units, dates, amounts, provider details) is complete and correct
• Monitor for expiring or incomplete authorizations and follow up with appropriate parties for missing documentation
• Process billing based on validated authorizations and submit for payment posting
• Input, update, reconcile, and analyze account activity; ensure accuracy and integrity of billing and payment records
• Reconcile daily receipts and remittances with posted payments
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between authorized amounts and billed amounts
• Maintain audit-ready documentation of authorizations, billing, payments, adjustments, and account history
• Serve as a point-of-contact for customer service inquiries from families, providers, or service coordinators regarding authorizations or billing
• Collaborate with billing, customer service, and management teams to ensure account accuracy and workflow efficiency
• Perform other related administrative or operational duties as assigned

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in billing, authorizations, financial administration, or similar role (preferably in healthcare or managed services)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel) and email/computer applications
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including phone support
• Strong organizational, analytical, and data-entry skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to handle substantial amounts of data, make correct judgments, and maintain accuracy under pressure
• Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proactive, "can-do" attitude; willingness to assist beyond core tasks when needed
