Role: Collection Specialist
Compensation: Competitive Basic Salary
Benefits: HMO plus 2 Free Dependents, P1,500 Rice Allowance, Night Differential (If applicable).
Work Schedule: 5-day work week, 2:00 a.m. 11:00 a.m. Philippine time
Work Setup: WFH

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and run reports on outstanding insurance and patient A/R on a daily/weekly basis.
  • Verify payment accuracy with posting clerks and insurance companies.
  • Contact insurance providers and patients regarding overdue accounts, documenting all communications.
  • Submit new payment arrangements and escalate accounts over 90 days to the Business Office Manager for collection.
  • Coordinate with collection agencies and track their progress on assigned accounts.
  • Prepare and submit refunds to insurance companies when required, including supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in patient business charts and computer systems.
  • Support other administrative and office tasks as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; business office training preferred.
  • Strong computer, typing, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Collection or billing certification preferred; ASC experience is a plus.
  • Ethical and professional demeanor.
