We are seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead and manage our collections operations team. ThWe are seeking an experienced Collections Manager to lead and manage our collections operations team. e role will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day collections activities, ensuring timely and effective recovery of outstanding receivables, minimizing bad debt exposure, and maintaining excellent client and customer relationships. The Collections Manager will also be expected to implement strategies, processes, and performance standards that align with company objectives and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and mentor a collections team.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquency rates.
- Set team performance targets and ensure KPIs are met or exceeded.
- Monitor daily collection activities, identify process gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and legal/regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular reporting and analysis on collection performance, aging reports, and risk exposure.
- Partner with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to resolve escalations or disputes.
- Drive initiatives for training, quality improvement, and process optimization.
- Prepare management updates on collection effectiveness, staffing needs, and risk areas.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous development of team members.
- Graduate of any 4-year business, finance, or related course (Master's degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 4 years of collections experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
- Strong understanding of collections strategies, accounts receivable management, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and people management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in reporting and metrics analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of collections software or CRM systems is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work on a hybrid setup at our Parañaque site (PQE).
- High level of integrity, resilience, and ability to handle escalations with professionalism.
