The
Senior Accountant (specializing in General Ledger)
is primarily responsible for ensuring that the General Ledger is accurately updated. You will work closely with the Accounts Payable Associate and Revenue Recognition Specialist to ensure proper timing of entries and the accuracy of reports generated through Netsuite.

Responsibilities:

Ensure Accurate and Timely Journal Entries:

● Oversee and review the recording of all financial transactions into the General Ledger on a timely basis

● Approve and ensure the accuracy of journal entries prepared by accounting staff

Reconcile Accounts:

● Regularly reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts to verify their accuracy and completeness of data

● Identify any discrepancies or errors

Maintain Chart of Accounts:

● Manage and maintain the company's Chart of Accounts, ensuring it accurately reflects the company's organizational structure and financial reporting needs

Support Financial Reporting:

● Provide assistance in preparing the financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows

● Analyze financial data, assist in generating supporting schedules, and assisting with audits

Qualifications:

● Certified Public Accountant

● 2-3 years of audit experience from the following accounting firms is a huge plus: SGV, PwC, Deloitte, KPMG

● Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

● Strong attention to detail

● Strong analytical skills

● Strong communication and collaboration skills

● Experience with Netsuite or SAP is a huge plus
