Role Overview:

The role will be is responsible for the end-to-end onboarding and growth of strategic merchant partners across Maya Invest (Mutual Funds, Equities, Crypto), Insurance, and International Remittance. This role ensures successful merchant/partner integration into Maya's Platforms such as Enterprise Wallet and Business Deposit/Mother Account ecosystem. The position bridges regulatory, technical, and commercial requirements to ensure seamless partner activation, user adoption, and long-term revenue contribution.

What you will do:

  • Engage & Onboard strategic merchants across Invest, Insurance, and Remittance verticals
  • Manage onboarding lifecycle from partner prospecting, due diligence, contract negotiation, to activation
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure technical, compliance, and product integration readiness
  • Support commercial agreements and revenue-sharing models tailored to each vertical's business with partner
  • Own day-to-day engagement with assigned partners or client portfolios
  • Ensure account and partner management post-launch to support usage and resolve issues
  • Support to Propose and implement marketing and incentive strategies to accelerate partner adoption and transaction volume
  • Responsible for ensuring that annual enhanced due diligence documents are submitted on time.

What we are looking for:

  • Graduate of Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 5 years in business development, financial services, fintech, or remittances
  • Experience in merchant onboarding and financial product integration
  • Deep understanding of regulatory, risk, and compliance frameworks (good to have)
  • Experience working with insurance and/or investment platforms (good to have)
