Job Title: HR Assistant (with Events Coordination)
Job Summary
The HR Assistant provides support in all HR functions such as recruitment, employee records, payroll assistance, and employee relations. In addition, this role will also help plan, organize, and coordinate company events and engagement activities, ensuring smooth execution and high employee participation.
Key Responsibilities
HR Support
- Assist in end-to-end recruitment: job postings, screening, interview scheduling.
- Maintain and update employee records (201 files, contracts, HRIS).
- Support payroll processing (attendance, overtime, government contributions).
- Assist in preparing HR-related documents (certificates, reports, memos).
- Provide first-line support for employee queries on HR policies and benefits.
Events & Employee Engagement
- Help plan and execute employee activities (appreciation days, birthdays, wellness, team building).
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and venues for events.
- Handle logistics, communications, and budget monitoring for events.
- Support in creating announcements, presentations, and recognition materials.
- Contribute ideas to boost company culture and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HRDM, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 6 months–1 year experience in HR or events coordination (fresh grads with internship/event exposure are welcome).
- Creative, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with event tools (Canva, PowerPoint, Google Suite).
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
