The HR Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Department. This role ensures smooth day-to-day HR operations, assists in recruitment and employee relations, maintains HR records, and supports compliance with company policies and labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial assessments.
  • Prepare and maintain employee records (contracts, 201 files, attendance, leave records, performance evaluations).
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Support HR initiatives such as training, employee engagement activities, and performance management.
  • Monitor and update HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Handle employee queries regarding HR policies, benefits, and company procedures.
  • Assist in payroll preparation by providing accurate attendance and leave data.
  • Ensure compliance with company rules, labor laws, and health & safety standards.
  • Provide administrative support such as filing, drafting HR documents, and preparing reports.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Preferably with experience in HR or administrative work (fresh graduates may also apply).
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based in the furniture company's headquarters.
  • May be required to visit production sites or showrooms for HR-related matters.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
