Hotel Sales Account Executive

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all reservations sent via email, booking orders from corporate accounts, and travel agencies (TA or OTA's) are processed.
  • Process and acknowledge any revisions or cancellations of reservations.
  • Check daily arrivals and ensure that all reservations are entered into the Property Management System.
  • Update room allocations to STAAH, ensuring real-time updates to online travel agencies.
  • Answer telephone and respond to caller inquiries in a pleasant manner.
  • Answer client questions about property facilities/services (e.g., rates and room types, entertainment, etc.).
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
  • Business proficient English communication skills are required for effective client interactions via phone and email.
  • Responsible for coordinating internally with the sales team, front office, and other departments.
  • Prepare sales-related documents
  • Generate group and/or corporate leads through internet prospecting, networking, and telemarketing.
  • Monitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications.
  • Perform hotel site tours with potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Tourism, or a related field.
  • Good computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Property Management Systems like Wincloud is an advantage but not required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry or a travel agency is an advantage.
  • Willingness to make sales calls or conduct fieldwork.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
