Assistant Manager - Supply and Demand

Supports the Supply Chain Head by overseeing daily operations of Supply and Demand section, managing staff, handling customer issues, and ensuring company policies are followed. Key duties include supervising employees, creating work schedules, training new hires, maintaining inventory and resolving complaints. Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Management: Ensure a smooth workflow by managing daily tasks of Material Planners, monitoring inventory, and maintaining workplace safety.
Collaborates with the sales team and other internal departments for the preparation of sales forecast.

Staff Supervision

  1. Provide guidance to staff, create work schedules, delegate tasks, and offer feedback on performance to upper management.

  2. Training new employees to meet job requirements and company standards.

  3. Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints professionally, and strive to enhance customer satisfaction.

  4. Policy and Compliance: Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  5. Financial Support: Assist with managing operating costs, developing budgets, and creating financial reports.

  6. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve issues within the section or team, making decisions as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Leadership: The ability to motivate and guide team members.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with staff and customers.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making abilities to handle various workplace challenges.
Organizational Skills: Proficient in managing time, resources, and multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in relevant software, such as MS Office, and management systems.
Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory or management role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or any related courses.
