Job Role Summary/Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented FPA Manager to lead our financial planning and analysis function. This role will be responsible for advanced financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and delivering actionable insights through reporting and analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent business acumen, and the ability to translate data into strategic recommendations for leadership.

Job Highlights

  • Monthly Rate: Approximately PHP 95,000
  • Paid Hours per Week: 40

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, PST

  • Work Arrangement: Work from home

  • Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an "Independent Contractor" arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
  • Develop and maintain advanced financial models to support decision-making, scenario analysis, and business strategy.
  • Deliver financial reporting and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
  • Design and manage dashboards in Tableau (or similar BI tools) to track KPIs, operational metrics, and financial outcomes.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data by collaborating with teams managing the data warehouse and other data sources.
  • Provide executive-level presentations and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop FP&A analysts, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's/MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Expertise in financial reporting and analytics with proven ability to synthesize complex data.
  • Proficiency in Tableau (or similar BI/dashboarding tools) and familiarity with data warehouse environments.
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge (e.g., Hyperion, Anaplan, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a high-growth or multinational environment.
  • Knowledge of SQL or other data analysis languages.
  • CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications (a plus).
