Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

Key Responsibilities:


•Financial Analysis and Reporting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Analyze financial performance and variances, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.


•Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing annual budgets, updating rolling forecasts, analyzing variances, and aligning assumptions with strategic goals through collaboration with department heads.


•Headcount Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with HR and department heads to develop accurate headcount plans, including scenario analyses to support strategic workforce decisions


•Data Integrity: Collaborate with IT and finance teams to maintain accuracy and reliability in financial databases such as Workday Adaptive, Oracle Hyperion, or Microsoft Dynamics.


•Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and align strategic initiatives.


•Scenario Analysis: Perform scenario modeling to evaluate the impact of business changes or potential risks on financial outcomes.


•Support Senior Leadership: Prepare and present financial reports, including insights from the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement to senior leadership.

  • Excel Expertise: Leverage advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, data manipulation, and reporting

Qualifications


•Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus.


•Experience: 5+ years in FP&A or a related finance role, preferably at a mid-to-large-sized organization.


•Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Power BI and advanced Excel functions (e.g., macros, pivot tables).
  • Hands-on experience with financial databases (e.g., Workday Adaptive, Oracle Hyperion, Microsoft Dynamics).
