Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the quality of work of Accounting Associates, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
  • Provides guidance and support to the accounting team, addressing questions and resolving issues.
  • Conducts performance reviews and providing feedback to improve team performance.
  • Prepares the Adjusted Trial Balance to be submitted to the Accountant for preparation of Financial Statements.
  • Prepares other reports such as Cash Flow and Budget.
  • Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
  • Maintains confidential information by adhering to legal and ethical standards.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
  • Performs other functions that maybe assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or related field
  • With more than 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with BIR regulations, tax compliance, and other statutory reporting requirements
  • Experience in preparation of Adjusted Trial Balance and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or equivalent) and MS Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good leadership skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with internal departments
  • Ability to document accounting policies and procedures and recommend process improvements
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php30,000.00 per month
