Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Recordkeeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, ledgers, and journals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  2. Reconciliation: Perform regular bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date.
  3. Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process invoices, ensuring proper documentation and approval before payment.
  4. Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
  5. Tax Compliance: Support tax filings (e.g., VAT, withholding tax) and ensure timely and accurate submissions in compliance with local regulations.
  6. Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries related to financial transactions.
  7. Cash Management: Monitor cash flow and assist in managing petty cash, ensuring sufficient funds are available for day-to-day operations.
  8. Data Entry: Enter financial transactions into accounting software and systems, ensuring that all records are correct and filed appropriately.
  9. Other Duties: Perform other related accounting tasks and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager or Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Management Accounting or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and management accounting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and Microsoft Excel.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision.
