Job Overview:

An exciting opportunity is available for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer. The role covers both Accounts Payable (Creditors) and Accounts Receivable (Debtors) responsibilities, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, timely payments, effective collections, and proper reconciliations. This position is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and committed to delivering high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Payable (Creditors)
  • Code, check, and enter invoices in Moveware, ensuring accurate allocation to jobs/waybills and purchase orders.
  • Process payments for subcontractors and international agents (multi-currency).
  • Reconcile invoices to supplier statements.
  • Maintain batch books, ensuring balances match the General Ledger.
  • Scan and organize paid invoices into supplier folders.
  • Prepare payment schedules and electronic payment files for weekly disbursements.
  • Investigate and resolve problematic invoices and queries.
    Allocate payment dates according to supplier terms.
  • Accounts Receivable (Debtors)
  • Post daily receipts in Moveware from bank transaction history.
  • Manage debt collection and follow-ups, documenting progress in Moveware.
  • Reconcile cash accounts at end of month (EOM).
  • Issue non-invoiced reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support AMG netting and toll remittance processes.
  • Prepare and send customer statements and trial balances with commentary.
  • Handle debtor queries or redirect to appropriate personnel.
  • Perform weekly bank reconciliations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of3 years' relevant experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in accounting systems (experience with Moveware is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations, payment processing, and collections.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Good English communication skills for handling internal and external queries.
  • Exposure or experience working in the removals and storage services to the Australian and export markets are highly advantageous
  • Willing to work in the office full-time at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City. (Monday-Friday, 7:00AM to 4:00PM
