We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Officer to support our finance team. The ideal candidate has solid accounting knowledge, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work with accuracy under deadlines. This role is based at our Makati office and offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Encode tax relief and record financial transactions.
  • Prepare and verify invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers.
  • Help reconcile bank statements and track expenses.
  • Maintain organized financial records (both digital and physical).
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments regarding billing or payment concerns.
  • Perform administrative tasks in support of the accounting team.
  • Work daily at the Remark office.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficient in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in records and transactions.
  • Analytical skills to interpret financial data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Skilled in MS Excel and familiar with accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Strong communication and report-writing skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and support audits.
  • Flexible and adaptable to new systems and processes.
