The Accounting Officer is responsible for performing general accounting tasks to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. This role handles day-to-day financial transactions, maintains accounting records, assists in budget preparation, and supports compliance with tax and regulatory requirements. The Accounting Officer works closely with the Accounting Supervisor/Manager to support overall financial operations.

  • Record, review, and verify financial transactions in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable processes, including billing, invoicing, and collections.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, management reports, and budget monitoring.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.
  • Prepare government-related filings (e.g., BIR reports, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.) when required.
  • Monitor cash flow and maintain proper documentation of disbursements and receipts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during audit engagements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA license preferred but not required).

  • At least 1– years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates with strong internship experience may be considered).
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Familiarity with government compliance and tax reporting is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php25,000.00 per month
