Job Summary:

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods, materials, and services to meet the company's operational requirements. This role involves evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, service, support, and reliability.
  • Request and review quotations, negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up on delivery schedules.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse and production departments to forecast demand.
  • Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or payment in collaboration with other departments.

  • Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Officer, Buyer, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement principles, supply chain management, and inventory control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good organizational and time-management skill

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Php30,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
