Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team to prepare and apply paint and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation, painting techniques, and the ability to work safely and efficiently to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling holes or cracks
  • Mix, match, and apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes
  • Use brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other equipment to apply coatings
  • Cover surfaces and protect areas not to be painted using drop cloths and masking materials
  • Ensure even and smooth application of paint for a professional finish
  • Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
  • Follow safety protocols and comply with health and environmental regulations
  • Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on time
  • Inspect finished work and make necessary touch-ups

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a painter in residential, commercial, or industrial settings
  • Knowledge of different painting techniques, materials, and tools
  • Ability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Good physical condition and stamina for manual work
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently
  • Strong time management skills and reliability
  • Valid driver's license is a plus
