Job Summary:

The Company Driver is responsible for handling all car service requests and ensuring the safe transport of guests, pilots, flight crews, and staff to PhilJets facilities. The role manages the proper maintenance, documentation, and regulatory compliance of the company vehicle fleet. It also supports operations through messengerial tasks such as document transmittal, collections, and assisting various departments as needed. During non-operational periods, the driver helps maintain cleanliness and order in work areas.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Receive, record, and consolidate all requests for car services, ensuring timely and efficient allocation of vehicles.
  • Monitor the overall condition and roadworthiness of the company's vehicle fleet by conducting routine inspections and promptly reporting any issues requiring repair.
  • Schedule and coordinate all preventive and periodic maintenance activities including oil changes, tire replacement, timing belt replacement, alternator repairs, and other mechanical services to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety.
  • Maintain and update accurate documentation for all company vehicles, and process the timely renewal of licenses, registrations, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Safely pick up and transport guests from their hotels, offices, or the PhilJets Lounge to designated PhilJets helipads or lounges, always ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Assist in flight operations by transporting pilots and flight crews to and from helipads and providing logistical support as required.
  • Support operational requirements by repositioning staff, equipment, tools, and materials needed for flight-related activities.
  • Perform messengerial duties such as the transmittal and collection of documents, checks, cash payments, and other important items, ensuring secure and confidential handling.
  • Responsible for assisting the Human Resources, Administration, Finance, and other departments by performing assigned tasks and operational support when necessary.
  • Assist housekeeping and messenger aides in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the workplace including conference rooms, lounges, and lobby areas during periods without flight operations.

Others:

  • Follows and participates actively in Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations. Understand, complies, and promotes the company's safety and quality policies.
  • Develops own skills and industry knowledge as required by the Company and as part of continuous learning and improvement through but not limited to further studies; training; etc.
  • Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as needed within the scope of HRA function and in line with the limitations prescribed by the authority.
  • Responsibilities and duties may change when circumstances dictate such as but not limited to changes in workload; rush jobs; emergencies; etc.
  • Lead and motivate the local HRA Force.
  • Demonstrate, encourage, and act as role model in any ways of working within teams.
  • Promote and live by the Philjets Group Values.
