About the Role

RLI Furniture is seeking an experienced and hands-on Logistics Head to restructure and lead our logistics operations. This is a leadership role for someone capable of building a mini logistics company within our organization—streamlining systems, enforcing discipline, and ensuring reliable delivery execution. You will play a critical role in improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of day-to-day logistics operations, including dispatch, delivery, inventory movements, and team scheduling.
  • Resolve key pain points: attendance monitoring, item damage prevention, real-time updates, and reporting.
  • Establish clear systems, SOPs, and performance metrics for the logistics team.
  • Implement proactive delivery planning, route optimization, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Introduce effective reporting: delivery performance, delays, incidents, and team productivity.
  • Train and manage logistics personnel, fostering discipline and accountability.
  • Collaborate with production, sales, and project teams to align delivery schedules and customer expectations.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (if needed).

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management; preferably in furniture, retail, or construction industries.
  • Proven experience setting up or restructuring logistics systems and teams.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in using logistics or inventory tracking tools (e.g., ERP, WMS, Excel dashboards).
  • Hands-on, resourceful, and results-driven.
