Data Entry Specialist (Project-Based, Full-Time)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support a data migration project for one of our clients. The primary responsibility will be to export and organize thousands of files for migration from a legacy software system ensuring accuracy and quality along the way. This role is crucial to ensuring a smooth transition with zero data loss and accurate documentation throughout the process.

This is a project-based position and not a permanent role. The ideal candidate is meticulous, reliable, and experienced in handling large volumes of data with precision and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Export and organize files from the client's legacy software system for migration to SharePoint.
  • Verify file integrity, completeness, and consistency before and after export.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all exported data.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing files promptly.
  • Collaborate with project managers and IT team members to ensure all deliverables are met on schedule.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to confirm successful data transfers.
  • Uphold strict confidentiality and data security protocols at all times to protect sensitive client information.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in data entry, data migration, or related administrative roles.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Windows.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive tasks without losing accuracy.
  • Familiarity with file management systems
  • Ability to follow strict guidelines and project timelines.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to maintaining confidentiality and safeguarding data.
  • Fast & reliable computer & internet connection

Work Schedule

  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Must be available during standard business hours (CST).
  • Duration: Project-based (exact timeline to be determined).
