The Accounting Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounting records. This role involves handling payroll processes, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and supporting tax compliance activities in accordance with BIR regulations and company policies. The position also includes preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings through the EFPS system, maintaining organized financial documentation, and assisting in audit preparation. The Accounting Executive will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely financial reporting, resolve discrepancies, and uphold confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.

· Knowledge of accounting software such as SAP or NetSuite is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).

· Basic knowledge of payroll processes, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.

· With 2-3 years of experience in accounting preferred. Experience with data entry and processing financial transactions.

· Strong attention to accuracy in handling numbers and financial records. Ability to identify discrepancies in financial data and resolve them promptly.

· Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues. Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain financial information clearly. Comfortable communicating with both internal teams and external clients or vendors.

· Familiarity with Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) regulations and procedures.

· Knowledge of BIR forms, filing deadlines, and submission requirements (e.g., 1701, 1702, 2550M/Q, 1601C, etc.).

· Ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings (e.g., income tax, VAT, withholding taxes).

· Experience in using EFPS for electronic filing and payment of taxes.

· Knowledge of navigating the BIR's online system for tax compliance and submission.

· Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks effectively.

· Organizational skills in maintaining files, documentation, and financial records.

· Ability to handle sensitive financial data responsibly and maintain confidentiality.
