Job Summary

The primary function of this role is the oversight of the sales & marketing operations of the company. Plan, develop and implement all sales and marketing strategies, including network development, business development and customer relations and feedback. Take an active role in the achievement of the department's overall KPIs to ensure sales targets and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the functions and staff of Business Development Dept. and Customer Service activities.
  • Develop plans, set goals and deadlines and implement procedures to improve productivity, customer service and sales.
  • Observe social, economic and political trends that might ultimately affect the business and make recommendations to mitigate negative effects.
  • To analyze statistics to determine customer potential, preferences and requirements.
  • To analyze statistics with regards to potential markets, competition and market trends.
  • To establish closer contact with customers through various means of communications: Personal visits, Web Site updates, Emails / Internet, Phone / Fax
  • Oversee advertising, promotions, marketing, sales and public relations activities.
  • Assist all Departments in crisis management.
  • Attend forums organized by the government or the private sector related to Cold Chain Logistics to be updated on new and upcoming industry plans and programs, news and developments as well as to meet industry movers and players.
  • Provide expertise support to all departments.
  • Assist in the annual Budget preparation.

Authorities

  1. Company Representative of the company in social and business activities.
  2. Upholds the company image.
  3. Authorize to continue work beyond schedule upon special requests of the customer.
  4. Authorized to refuse and prevent any untoward transactions by the customers that is unsafe for the other customers and defiance from standard operating procedure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or any business courses.
  • At least 8 relevant years of experience in sales and marketing in the Cold Chain Industry
  • Knowledgeable of the cold chain operation and current understanding of the cold chain industry standards.
  • Knowledgeable on warehouse, logistics, distribution and trucking operation acquired in the food industry.
  • Has develop a network or roster of A+ clients in the cold chain industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good business acumen and excellent negotiation skills.
  • Clear understanding of the customer's needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Introduction training about the organization
  • Familiarization training with different departments
