Job Summary:
The Administrative / Bookkeeper is responsible for managing day-to-day administrative operations and maintaining accurate financial records of the organization. This role involves bookkeeping, office management, document organization, and providing support to management and staff to ensure smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Duties:
- Manage office operations, supplies, correspondence, and filing systems.
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain company calendars.
- Prepare and manage documents, reports, and presentations.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications (emails, calls, mail).
- Support HR functions such as onboarding, employee records, and timesheets.
- Coordinate with vendors, clients, and service providers.
Bookkeeping Duties:
- Record daily financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and petty cash.
- Prepare invoices, track payments, and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Process payroll and maintain related records.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support the accountant or auditor with documentation during audits or tax season.
Qualifications:Education:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in administrative and bookkeeping roles.
- Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic accounting principles.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- Team-oriented with a professional demeanor.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
