Job Overview:

Cozier Furniture is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records of the company, ensuring accuracy in all transactions, and providing support to the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software
  • Prepare financial reports for management
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support financial operations

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (a plus)
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Associate degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
