Job Summary

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives to drive revenue growth and market share expansion. You will lead a high-performing team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Reporting directly to the President, you will play a key role in shaping the company's commercial strategy and achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Strategic Training Programs:

  • Collaborate with Academic leadership to develop strategic plans for healthcare training programs aligned with the educational objectives and growth targets.
  • Utilize market research and analysis to identify target audiences within the healthcare industry, including healthcare professionals, students, and organizations, and tailor selling efforts accordingly.
  • Implement innovative selling strategies to promote healthcare training programs, including digital marketing campaigns, industry partnerships, and targeted outreach initiatives.

Lead Enrolment and Participant Recruitment Efforts:

  • Oversee the enrollment process for healthcare training programs, ensuring a seamless and supportive experience for prospective participants from inquiry to enrollment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare organizations, professional associations, and industry partners to promote awareness of the institute's training programs and attract qualified applicants.

Enhance Brand Recognition and Reputation:

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to enhance the institute's brand visibility and reputation as a leader in healthcare education and training.
  • Leverage potential marketing channels, such as social media, email marketing, and online advertising, to increase awareness of training programs and engage with target audiences.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with key stakeholders in the healthcare industry, including employers, regulatory bodies, and professional societies, to build trust and credibility of training programs.

Drive Revenue Growth and Financial Sustainability:

  • Collaborate with financial and academic leadership to develop pricing strategies and financial aid options that balance affordability with revenue generation for healthcare training programs.
  • Identify opportunities for revenue diversification, such as customized training programs for healthcare organizations, continuing education courses, and professional development workshops.
  • Monitor enrolment trends, revenue projections, and budgetary performance, providing regular reports and analysis to senior leadership to inform strategic decision-making.

Strengthen Industry Partnerships:

  • Develop strategies to engage alumni of healthcare training programs and cultivate their support as advocates and mentors for current participants.
  • Foster relationships with healthcare employers, industry associations, and professional networks to identify workforce needs, align curriculum with industry standards, and facilitate participant placements.
  • Organize networking events, alumni reunions, and industry forums to facilitate collaboration and knowledge exchange among alumni, participants, faculty, and industry partners.

Ensure Compliance and Quality Assurance:

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to healthcare education and training, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and guidelines.
  • Establish quality assurance processes and procedures to monitor the effectiveness and integrity of training programs, including participant outcomes, program evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide training and support to faculty, staff, and participants on ethical practices, professional conduct, and regulatory compliance in healthcare education and training.

Facilitate Collaboration and Interdepartmental Integration:

  • Collaborate closely with program directors, instructors, and subject matter experts to align selling efforts with curriculum development, program delivery, and participant support services.
  • Foster communication and collaboration between sales, admissions, academic, and administrative departments to ensure alignment of messaging, resources, and goals in support of the institute's mission and strategic objectives.

Evaluate Performance and Drive Continuous Improvement:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness of sales and enrolment efforts for healthcare training programs, tracking progress toward enrolment targets, participant outcomes, and ROI.
  • Conduct regular analysis and evaluation of campaigns, recruitment strategies, and participant retention initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Lead data-driven decision-making, leveraging analytics, participant feedback, and market insights to inform strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; MBA preferred.

· Proven track record of success in senior sales leadership roles within the healthcare industry, with a minimum of 10 years of experience.

· Deep understanding of healthcare market dynamics, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.

· Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to develop and implement complex sales strategies.

· Excellent leadership and team-building abilities, with a track record of motivating and inspiring teams to achieve ambitious goals.

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

· Analytical mindset, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

· Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and business needs.

· Demonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance in all business activities.

· Willingness to travel as needed.
