The Vice President for Finance serves as the senior financial leader and strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. Responsible for overall financial management, this role oversees planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, compliance, and systems governance across all entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership & Planning
  • Serve as the Head of Finance and strategic business partner to the executive leadership team.
  • Evaluate financial performance, align with operational goals, budgets, and forecasts, and provide valuable insights and recommendations for both short-term and long-term growth plans.
  • Establish annual financial objectives aligned with business growth targets.

  • Prepare all board presentations on behalf of CEO and advise leadership on financial risks and opportunities

  • Financial Analysis, Budgeting and Forecasting

  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss, forecast vs. budget, and cash flow analysis by division on a monthly basis.

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, overseeing the development and maintenance of monthly and annual operating budgets

  • Accounting, General Ledger, Administration, and Operations

  • Oversee the accounting department, ensuring proper functioning of systems and software, maintaining internal controls, and reviewing financial procedures for compliance.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors, advise management on financial matters and regulatory compliance, and ensure adherence to tax and statutory requirements.

  • Financial Management, Relations, and Policies

  • Ensure optimal cash management, including planning, utilization, and availability and reporting
  • Oversee cash, investments, and assets to maximize returns and minimize risks.

  • Represent the company in dealings with banks, financial partners, institutions, investors, public auditors and officials.

  • Administrative, Legal, and Systems Governance

  • Provide strategic oversight of inventory management and data integrity to ensure reliability and accountability
  • Ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements across all entities and business processes, whenever needed
  • Oversee and manage MIS/IT teams in optimizing financial systems, safeguarding data integrity, driving automation, and ensuring system resilience and compliance

  • Maintain accountability for legal and corporate documentation, including insurance, contracts, and intellectual property agreements

  • People Management

  • Provide strategic leadership across the finance function, setting vision, direction, and priorities that align with business goals.
  • Build and develop a strong finance leadership bench, ensuring succession readiness for key roles.

Minimum Qualifications: What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience leading finance in a multi-entity or regional organization.
  • Strong expertise in FP&A, accounting, treasury, and compliance.
  • Demonstrated financial judgment and decision-making at an executive level.
  • Effective in managing stakeholders across division heads, country CEOs, and boards
  • Experience in retail, luxury, multinational organizations is an advantage
  • Exposure to ERP implementation or rollout is preferred
