Key Responsibilities:
- · Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- · Develop, implement, and enforce spa policies, procedures, and service standards.
- · Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, organization, and aesthetic appeal of the entire spa facility.
- · Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints effectively and promptly.
- · Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations for all spa team members.
- · Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
- · Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, reinforce standards, and encourage team engagement.
- · Ensure staff adherence to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- · Champion a culture of exceptional guest service, ensuring every guest receives personalized and memorable experiences.
- · Monitor guest feedback (e.g., surveys, online reviews) and implement improvements as needed.
- · Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey from booking to departure.
- · Develop and manage the spa's budget, controlling expenses and optimizing revenue.
- · Analyze sales data, treatment utilization, and retail performance to identify trends and opportunities.
- · Develop and implement promotional strategies, packages, and membership programs to drive revenue.
- · Work closely with the marketing team to promote spa services and retail products.
- · Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and reporting.
- · Research and recommend new spa treatments, products, and equipment to keep the spa competitive and innovative.
- · Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the spa and wellness sector.
- · Ensure all services are performed to the highest professional standards.
- · Coordinate with maintenance and housekeeping teams to ensure all spa equipment is in good working order and facilities are well-maintained.
- · Ensure strict adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations and protocols.
- · Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications:
- · Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- · Minimum of 2 (two) years of experience in spa operations management, with a proven track record of success.
- · Strong understanding of spa treatments, retail products, and industry best practices.
- · Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- · Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- · Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.
- · Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- · Certification in spa management, cosmetology, or a related field (a plus).
