About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid foundation in accounting principles who are eager to gain hands-on experience and grow within the field. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in preparing and maintaining financial records, ledgers, and reports.

Record daily financial transactions including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense entries.

Reconcile bank statements and company accounts regularly.

Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.

Assist in preparing tax returns, audits, and financial statements.

Maintain accurate documentation and filing of financial information.

Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payments and invoices.

Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

0–2 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates are welcome).

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero is a plus).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good organizational and time management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
