About the role

SemCalaca Power Corporation is seeking an experienced Inventory Management and Material Control Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Calaca, Batangas. This full-time position is a crucial role within our Power Generation & Distribution operations, responsible for overseeing the effective management and control of our inventory and materials, ensuring the efficient operation of our power facilities.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee the inventory and materials control system, developing strategies to optimise inventory levels and minimise costs.
  2. Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operations teams to ensure the timely availability of materials and equipment.
  3. Implement and maintain effective stock monitoring and reporting processes.
  4. Analyse inventory data and generate reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
  5. Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials, maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
  6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance inventory management practices.
  7. Lead and mentor a team of inventory and materials control personnel.
  8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve inventory-related issues.

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management and material control, preferably in the power generation or mining industry.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  3. Proficient in the use of inventory management software and data analysis tools.
  4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  6. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and safety standards.
  7. Proven track record of implementing cost-effective inventory management strategies.
