About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at SemCalaca Power Corporation as a Planning and Scheduling Supervisor. Based in Calaca Batangas, this full-time role will see you play a crucial part in the efficient planning and scheduling of the company's mining operations.

What you'll be doing

  1. Monitoring the daily progress of maintenance and special projects to ensure they stick to the approved schedules.
  2. Initiating action plans and "catch-up" strategies for activities that are delayed or at risk.
  3. Preparing and updating detailed work schedules and manpower allocation plans in accordance with project needs and resource availability.
  4. Reviewing and validating work orders from end-users to ensure they are accurate and complete.
  5. Facilitating regular meetings with end-users, stakeholders, and support groups to address issues that affect project execution.
  6. Tracking inventory levels for parts and materials and preparing timely withdrawal requests.
  7. Monitoring project progress reports and tracking corrective actions from incident investigations until they are resolved.
  8. Ensuring compliance with environmental, safety, and health (EHS) policies and identifying potential hazards and risks.

What we're looking for

The ideal candidate for the Technical Services Planning Supervisor position should meet the following qualifications:

  1. Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics and Communications Engineering is required.
  2. Work Experience: The candidate should have at least three years of experience in the Power Plant Industry. This includes at least two years in a Supervisory and Leadership role, and at least two years in Project Management.
  3. Licenses/Certifications: A professional license as a Registered Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineer is required.
  4. Training/Seminars: The position requires training in Project Management, Supervisory Management and Leadership, and BOSH (Basic Occupational Safety and Health).
