Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment.
  • Lead financial, operational, and compliance audits across all departments.
  • Report audit findings to the Board of Directors and Executive Team, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices, regulatory standards, and internal policies.
  • Oversee the evaluation of internal controls, identifying gaps and areas for enhancement.
  • Manage and mentor the internal audit team, promoting a culture of accountability and ethical conduct.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during assessments and audits.
  • Stay current with evolving audit methodologies, tools, and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive audit experience, with at least a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of auditing standards, financial regulations, risk management, and internal controls.
  • Proven experience in developing and leading enterprise-wide audit strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
