Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Record Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Financial Reporting: Preparing and analyzing financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Compliance: Ensuring adherence to accounting principles, tax laws, and other relevant regulations.
  • Transaction Processing: Processing invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconciling bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts.
  • Audit Support: Assisting with internal and external audits.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data to provide insights and recommendations for business improvement.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting with the development and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Inventory Management: Monitoring inventory and developing strategies for cost control.
  • Cash Flow Management: Monitoring cash flow and preparing cash flow forecasts.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in Accounting or Finance
  • Expected to handle responsibilities more independently (e.g., preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing ledgers)
  • Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends and issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy and meticulousness in handling financial records.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively.
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues.
