About the Role:
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
- Process and manage all accounts payable transactions, including invoice validation, payment processing, and vendor reconciliations
- Handle accounts receivable functions by generating invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and maintaining customer accounts
- Monitor AP/AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts and discrepancies
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts using Xero and QuickBooks
- Prepare VAT reports and year-end financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and assist with month-end closing activities
- Provide regular financial reports on accounts status and cash flow forecasts
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and regulatory requirements
- Continuously improve financial processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
HR & Recruitment
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Draft employment contracts and offer letters in compliance with company policies and local labor laws
- Monitor and maintain employee leave records, including vacation, sick leave, and other entitlements
- Support employee performance evaluation processes and maintain HR documentation
- Handle employee relations issues with professionalism and confidentiality
- Ensure timekeeping systems are up-to-date and accurate for payroll processing
- Oversee government-mandated benefits and ensure timely payments of contributions
Office & Compliance Management
- Monitor and manage renewals of business permits, licenses, and other compliance documents
- Oversee office operations including procurement, vendor coordination, and supplies management
- Ensure timely renewal of local government permits and regulatory compliance
- Act as a point of contact for office-related queries and administrative support needs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Xero and QuickBooks
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, VAT reporting, and financial statement preparation
- Strong understanding of HR processes and local compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Willing to work onsite and can start immediately
