JOB SUMMARY

The position is responsible for managing the entire accounting process — from recording daily financial transactions and reconciling accounts to preparing accurate financial reports and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee the complete accounting cycle of multiple affiliated entities, including journal entries, general ledger updates, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Review and approve accounts payable and payment vouchers.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and necessary supporting documents.
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations, including variance and balance analysis.
  • Handle payroll processing and ensure timely compliance with government remittances and reports.
  • Manage accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Participate in budget planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Provide audit support by submitting required schedules and documentation to internal and external auditors.
  • Supervise quarterly inventory of company materials and supplies.
  • Maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts and schedules.
  • Prepare and file BIR tax returns (VAT, withholding, income tax, etc.) and ensure they are submitted on or before deadlines.
  • Assist in the renewal of permits, licenses, and other compliance-related documents.
  • Identify and recommend process enhancements to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in accounting operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience preferred; background in real estate is an advantage.
  • Experience in cost accounting is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office, accounting software, and database management.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work accurately.
