Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively sell food products to target businesses and organizations such as hotels, restaurants, and cafeterias.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure continued business and client satisfaction.
  • Identify and pursue new accounts and opportunities within the institutional and food service sectors.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of client needs and challenges within the food service industry to offer appropriate product solutions.
  • Possess a strong understanding of the food products being sold, including their features, benefits, and applications in a food service setting.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to effectively position products.
  • Likely involves tracking sales activities, client interactions, and progress towards sales targets.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate of any four-year course (e.g., Bachelor's degree).
  • Preferably with 3 years of working experience in the same field (institutional and food services sales).
  • Demonstrated strong sales capabilities, including prospecting, presentation, negotiation, and closing.
  • Good understanding of the food service industry, including its operations, key players, and challenges.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients.
