Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Food Service Specialist to join our team. This role involves direct and hands-on contact with food products, including preparation, customer service, and cash handling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Balancing cash registers, making change, recording purchases, processing returns, and scanning items for sale.
  • Handling food products, including cutting, weighing, packaging, pricing meats and cheeses, and updating food displays.
  • Preparing food products with utmost cleanliness, maintaining a clean workstation and area, following food safety and sanitation procedures, and ensuring the safety of personnel, customers, and others.
  • Providing assistance to customers through recommendations and food samples, answering inquiries and requests.
  • Endorsing and selling products by supplying customers with accurate information about S & L's products to help them make informed decisions.
  • Providing principal customer service and acting with utmost respect as representatives of the company.
  • Demonstrating good communication, attention to detail, active listening, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Being adaptable to changing circumstances.
Requirements
  • No experience required; willingness to learn and contribute.
  • Good communication, attention to detail, active listening, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and work in a retail environment.
