Job Description:

The Food Service and Catering Officer is responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of all food service and catering operations. This includes managing daily food service activities, supervising catering events, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining client satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute food service and catering events in line with company standards
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure accurate menu planning, portioning, and delivery
  • Supervise and guide service staff during catering functions and daily food service operations
  • Ensure that food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are strictly followed at all times
  • Manage inventory of food, beverages, and catering supplies
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and service delivery to ensure client satisfaction
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and procurement of supplies
  • Prepare reports on service efficiency, event outcomes, and customer feedback
  • Train and orient new staff on food service and catering protocols

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in food service or catering operations
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, Excel)
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays depending on event schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
