Job Summary
The HR Generalist is responsible in carrying out and communicating programs and systems in the areas of Recruitment and Personnel Tracking, Administrative and Records Management, Occupational Safety and Health and Organizational Development.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Personnel Management
Implements recruitment programs, and recommends best practices to improve the Company's talent acquisition procedures,
Maintains adequate number of manpower of the company as directed by the HRA Manager and Managing Director,
Maintains high quality standard of recruits by developing and implementing effective processes and materials (testing, interviewing techniques, and etc.),
Administers testing, conducts initial interview, and endorses screened applicants to requesting Departments. Ensuring that psychological assessment is explained and clarified to them.
Coordinates with the Recruitment and Personnel Management Assistant and Payroll Assistant of on-boarding employees for updating of payroll records and 201 file,
Conducts On-Boarding Orientation, as such, coordinates schedule of other facilitators (e.g. Quality Management Department for Good Distribution and Storage Practice Orientation), and
Creates reports on manpower and recruitment updates that may be required by the HR Supervisor and HRA Manager.
Ensure that all requests and verification of company properties, such as but not limited to vehicle, computer, mobile phone, and other software request such as email address and all system access are coordinated to the HR Administrator.
Training and HR Developmental Programs
Works with the HR Supervisor and HRA Manager in planning and developing needs analysis, training calendar, and developmental programs for the Company,
Develops and revises, whenever necessary, company policies and procedures as directed by the HR Supervisor and HRA Manager,
Partners with the HR Supervisor and HRA Manager in developing and implementing performance appraisals as basis for salary scales, promotions, and etc.,
Ensures the timely implementation of performance management system across all levels of the Company,
Works with the HR team in preparing for in-house training programs like budget, food, materials, and etc.,
Administrative and Records Management
Oversees the processing and monitoring of Personal Device Issuance Forms.
Ensure that all requests and verification of company properties, such as but not limited to vehicle, computer, mobile phone, and other software request such as email address and all system access are being processed on time.
Occupational Safety and Health
Oversee and manages the Occupational Health and Safety of the company.
Ensure the compliance of the company on different safety requirements implemented by DOLE and other government institutions.
Oversee Safety Officer and ensure implementation of the Occupational Safety of the company.
Ensures training of employees regarding safety practices is regularly implemented.
Coordinate Occupational Health with the Occupational Nurse and the Medical Director.
Organizational Development and Compliance
Continuous review and update of the job description of the employees.
Coordinates and documents KRAs of the employees with their respective managers.
Coordinate and update the organizational chart of the department with their respective heads.
Ensure the compliance of the company with GSDP and ISO standards.
Leads the department during internal audits and ensures the creation of corrective actions if there are findings.
Management and Supervision
Updates and informs the HR Department regarding company updates and announcements.
Ensures memorandum, policies, updated rules, and regulations are well cascaded and acknowledge by all personnel of the HR Department.
Maintains a professional relationship with subordinates and counterpart departments or sections.
Ensures to inform Management of any employee grievances, labor-related issues, and other concerns of the subordinates.
Ensures tasks, job description, standard procedures, health and safety policies, quality policies and company policies are well cascaded, acknowledges, and abide by all subordinates.
Issues Disciplinary Actions for any subordinate that may violate company policies, rules, regulations, and deviation from standard work procedures.
Supports the HRA Manager in developing programs, policies, and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services.
Abides by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, Quality Management, and in the Employee's Handbook
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the HRA Manager.
Others
Supports the Human Resources and Administration Manager in developing programs, policies and procedures relative to the improvement of the Department and its services;
Abides by the company rules and regulations implemented with regards to policies and procedures, quality management, and in the Employee's Handbook; and
Performs other duties that may be assigned by the Human Resources Supervisor & Human Resources and Administration Manager.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Needed for the Job)
Educational Requirements
Graduate of Psychology, Behavioral Science, Industrial Psychology, AB Psychology,
Competency
Extensive experience in human resources function; recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and labor relations
Essentials
Management Skills: planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating
Demonstrates good judgement, attention to details, and dealing with complexity
Interpersonal skill, social perceptiveness, patience, and self-confidence
