Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist with a strong focus on recruitment to join our team in Johor Bahru. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent while ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process. This role involves close collaboration with hiring managers and other HR team members to support the company's staffing needs and HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through various sourcing strategies, including job portals, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Onboarding:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth integration of new employees into the company.
HR Administration:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
- Assist in the preparation of HR reports related to recruitment metrics and other HR activities.
Employee Engagement:
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Provide support to employees and managers on HR-related queries and concerns.
Compliance & Policies:
- Ensure all recruitment and HR activities comply with local labor laws and company policies.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment and HR.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on recruitment.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with HR software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Singapore & Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
