Essential Job Functions

  • Recruitment
  • Studies and evaluates manpower requisition of internal customers based on competency framework and other requirements.
  • Identifies effective sourcing and assessment methods.
  • Sources suitable candidates for managerial and non-managerial positions.
  • Conducts assessment of managerial and non-managerial positions.
  • Provides requisitioning departments with summary evaluation and advice about candidates.
  • Coordinates status of applications with requisitioning department to ensure quick turn-around.
  • Deploys new hires.
  • Monitors department compliance to approved headcount / core positions.
  • Training and Development
  • Coordinates training needs analysis (TNA) for all staff by conducting surveys, interviews, etc. to determine deficiencies in knowledge, skills, and attitude required to maintain or improve performance.
  • Provides assistance in determining the training and development interventions to be offered by identifying learning needs of individuals and groups to ensure that knowledge and skills and attitude requirements are met.
  • Coordinates with internal and external training providers for the identified learning needs of employees.
  • Provides support and assistance to training provider in the preparation and conduct of the training.
  • Creates employee awareness about the planned training program and coordinates attendance with superior and participants to ensure maximum attendance to the training programs offered.
  • Prepares post course reports as inputs to planning training and development activities.
  • Maintains and updates the employee training record in the database file.
  • Organizational Development

  • Career Planning and Development

  • Provides technical support to the CPO in the implementation of career development programs for all positions by analyzing positions and developing career paths for each position.
  • Maintains and monitors a database of the skills, abilities, and experience of employees for HR and management decision making purpose.
  • Coordinates with Department Heads or supervisors to identify employees with high potential by providing the right information about the employee.
  • Gives professional guidance to the Department Head or supervisor on staff development, such as the type of training needs, what type of job best suits the staff, and what objectives are to be set.
  • Maintains and monitors a database of employee's progress based on their respective career paths.

  • Performance Management

  • Provides Performance Appraisal forms to department heads as cue for the conduct of the performance assessments, rating and discussion phase of the Performance Appraisal System
  • Monitors submission of accomplished forms by the department heads.
  • Maintains a database of employee's performance rating.
  • Submits reports and graphs on the distribution of performance ratings and salary adjustment in each department head and across the company for analysis and interpretation of the HR Manager.
  • Other OD tasks
  • Provides support in the conduct of an organizational diagnosis to identify areas of strengths and areas for improvement in the organization's internal resources such as people, structure, system, strategy, employee's knowledge, skills and attitude, shared values for management information and as basis for decision making.
  • Coordinates organization information gathered through various formal interactions with employees and submits report to the CPO for decision making purposes.

  • Others

  • Assists the CPO in the conduct of special projects/studies and coordinates activities in the implementation of said projects.
  • Prepares draft letters per instruction of the department head.
  • Performs Ad Hoc duties that may be assigned from time to time.

  • QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduate of 4-year course, Psychology or Human Resource Management Course
  • 5-years' experience in Human Resources particularly in Recruitment
  • Registered Psychometrician will be an advantage
