Training Manager – Biometrics Systems

Responsibilities

Training Program Development

  • Design and implement specialized training modules focused on biometric systems, access control, and IT/security infrastructure.
  • Customize training materials to meet government regulations, operational requirements, and compliance standards.
  • Incorporate technical, operational, and security best practices into training content.

Delivery & Facilitation

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for government personnel at various levels.
  • Apply blended learning approaches (classroom, practical hands-on, and e-learning) to maximize training effectiveness.
  • Standardize training delivery across different government sites and locations.

Evaluation & Improvement

  • Assess participants' knowledge and skills through pre- and post-training evaluations.
  • Collect feedback, monitor training outcomes, and refine content to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Update training programs regularly to reflect new technologies, system upgrades, and evolving user requirements.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and biometric system providers for accurate and effective training content.
  • Coordinate with government agencies to ensure training meets security and compliance requirements.
  • Mentor and oversee training specialists, facilitators, or contractors as needed.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5–7 years of experience in training, learning & development, or talent management.
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing training programs, preferably in IT or security systems.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Proficient with e-learning platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and digital training technologies.

Preferred Certifications:

  • CPTM (Certified Professional in Training Management)
  • ATD Certification or equivalent training and development credential
