Job Summary:
The Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing learning and development programs that enhance employee skills, performance, and productivity. This role ensures that training initiatives align with organizational goals and support career growth, employee engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Strategy & Development
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs across departments.
- Conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development priorities.
- Align training initiatives with company objectives, performance metrics, and succession planning.
Program Management
- Oversee the full training cycle, including planning, coordination, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Manage onboarding and orientation programs for new employees to ensure effective integration.
- Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance data.
Facilitation & Coaching
- Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and team development activities.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to employees and managers to reinforce learning outcomes.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Partner with department heads and HR to identify learning priorities and create tailored development plans.
- Coordinate with external training providers and manage related budgets and contracts.
- Ensure compliance with training requirements, certifications, and industry standards.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track training participation, progress, and outcomes.
- Prepare regular reports on training metrics, ROI, and improvement recommendations for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in training, learning & development, or talent management (managerial experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, training methodologies, and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Certification in Training & Development, Instructional Design, or Coaching is an advantage.
