Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
  • Monitor system performance, and ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and security checks.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with company policies.
  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work-related experience in system administration.
  • Proficient in Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools is a plus.
  • Experience with Git system management is a plus.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, firewall management, and security best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
  • Experience with database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
