Position Overview:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services required by the organization. This role ensures cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, compliance with company policies, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective procurement strategies in line with company objectives.
  • Source and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Request, review, and analyze quotations/proposals to support decision-making.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
  • Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Monitor and track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, and purchase reports.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, budget limitations, and relevant regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine procurement needs and specifications.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements within the supply chain.
  • Handle supplier performance evaluation and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing.
  • Prepare periodic procurement reports and provide data analysis to management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Buyer, or similar role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain, procurement best practices, and contract management.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php15, Php18,000.00 per month
