Respondent is building the infrastructure that powers participant recruiting for the research industry. Our mission is simple but ambitious: to make it effortless for researchers to find and engage high-quality participants - whether they're testing a product, exploring a market, or validating an idea.

From our founder's first recruits on a NYC subway to a global panel of 3 million participants across 150+ countries, we now support research for companies like Microsoft, Dropbox, and P&G. Our panel is one of the most diverse and responsive in the industry.

As the research world shifts rapidly - especially with the rise of AI-led tools - demand for high-quality, large-scale participant data is growing fast. Respondent is well-positioned to meet that demand, helping companies run better, faster research at scale.

We're a lean, growing team of ~30 people across Sydney, Manila, and the U.S. We've recently hit profitability and are reinvesting in the business.

The role

We're looking for a GTM Engineer to become the third hire of our Manila-based marketing team

Demand for participant panels like ours is growing among researchers and research platforms. To keep pace, our sales team is expanding - and we need someone who can help us connect the dots between sales, marketing, and engineering. You'll build systems to deliver high quality leads to our sales team, helping our business meet ambitious revenue targets.

What You'll Do

  • Build and refine an automated business development engine - from signal detection to multichannel outreach.
  • Partner with marketing and sales to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Source and leverage owned and third-party data to maximize opportunities to reach our buyer audience.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to continually improve workflows.
  • Build qualified sales pipeline for our sales team.

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years' experience building pipeline, processes, and automations as part of fast-moving go-to-market team.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM tools, marketing automation, AI workflows, and automation platforms.
  • You've worked in a fast-paced startup environment before.
  • High levels of ownership, autonomy, and proactivity.
  • Commercial awareness and curiosity to deeply understand our ideal customers.
  • You've done it before: you've got a track record in lead generation, sales/marketing automation or RevOps.

Bonus but not essential

  • Programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, SQL, APIs).
