Payroll Administrator (Onsite)
Job Description:
- Support the successful implementation of Workforce Training Needs Analysis (TNA) profiles within the GCN and the client's VIC business units.
- Assist with accurately setting up and configuring user profiles, ensuring all required data is entered correctly, and align the profiles with organisational training frameworks.
- Monitor and manage the payroll inbox, responding to employee and manager enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with providing accurate information and guidance on payroll matters, including pay slips, leave balances, tax, superannuation, and award entitlements.
- Escalate complex or technical issues to Senior Payroll Team Members where required.
- Assist with maintaining the integrity of the payroll system and associated data through accurate and complete administrative and payroll processes, data entry, record keeping and document management.
- Ensure a fair and consistent approach to payroll-related enquiries and advice.
- Assist with any Payroll projects as required.
- Continuously strive for process improvements in the payroll function.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or any related field.
- Proven experience in payroll administration.
- Experience with Micropay payroll system is a plus.
- Experience in data entry.
- Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
