The Audit Associate is an entry-level position that will work closely with the audit team and audit clients to perform various types of audits as described in the RFC Audit manual, understand the business processes, assess risks, evaluate internal controls, assist in the overall completion of each audit engagements, and comply with Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards and Code of Ethics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the execution of various type of audit (branch operations, compliance, integrated, technology, and fraud) in accordance with RFC audit methodology and Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) Standards and Code of Ethics.
  • Collect and evaluate the relevance, sufficiency, and reliability of potential sources of evidence during audit engagements.
  • Apply appropriate analytical review techniques to understand key business processes, assess risks, and evaluate internal controls design, implementation, and effectiveness during each audit engagement.
  • Prepare audit deliverables (working papers) and other relevant documentation that would support the audit conclusion of each audit engagement.
  • Assist audit supervisor on drafting initial and final audit report, obtain management's response, and addressing audit manager's review comments during audit engagements.
  • Demonstrate integrity, objectivity, competence, confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy in dealing with audit clients using appropriate language and medium to communicate audit conclusions/results during audit engagements.
  • Comply with RFC-wide and Internal Audit policies and Code of Conduct/Ethics.
  • Assist on other tasks that maybe assigned to improvement process within Internal Audit and/or RFC.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidate must posses a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy/Finance or any 4-year business related courses
  • Experience in Accounting and Financial Management is an advantage
  • With good analytical skills, adaptability and willingness to learn
  • With basic knowledge in Audit policies and procedures is an advantage
  • Candidates must be willing to do field work
